Day 3 - update
Hello folks ...
Just an update. This being my 3rd cleanse, I am having a fairly mild experience. I haven't really had too bad of a desire to eat at all these last few days. Just a tiny bit here and there, but nothing too difficult to overcome. I am feeling pretty positive today. I have lost 6
pounds so far, so I am happy about that. Tomorrow I begin the 60 day journey with Bikram Yoga. A bit nervous about entering this new realm of doing the most challenging type of yoga AND a very challenging fast at the same time, but I know myself and I know when I put my mind to something I am very disciplined and will stick to it.
My body has not seen 125
pounds for years. 135 a few years back was the closest I have gotten to. And on the last cleanse I got to 138 pounds. I'm 148 today, so between this and the 60 day hot yoga challenge, the 125 seems VERY reasonable. I'm just babbling because I'm kinda excited about this. Was feeling a bit out of control there when I was edging into the 150's and quite disappointed, so this is such a relief.
I'm also daily listening to my hypnosis CD and reading bits of
The Master Cleanse book and checking in here and reading posts for inspiration.
Also, I have been doing a bit of time blocking so that I really don't have time to think too much about food ... for example, today between 12 - 5 I will write scripts all day ... at 5 I will listen to hypnosis for mc ... then again at 6 for the yoga ... at 8pm I am watching American Idol (my little addiction) and then getting ready in the shower to go sing karaoke later this evening.
After tomorrow, days should start flying because the hot yoga is quite and investment of time. 90 minute class, plus the travel time and clean up time because you are completely soaked afterward.
