Ashwagandha and other adaptogens have been the way I manage my blown out adrenals. Balancing the hormonal system via adaptogenic herbs has helped me immensely. I also do not get sick nearly as much.
Also try holy basil and rhodiola rosea. Rhodiola has a stimulative effect so be careful with dosage your first time trying it. Rhodiola works well when combined with ashwagandha.
