Re: Day 14 of 31 Day Water Fast, Need Info

@kgm

I am not fasting to cure an ailment or disease but rather I am fasting because I know it is overall healthy and a bit of side-motivation that I started at 300.2 lbs and I know fasting to be a great tool for weight loss. But weight loss certainly wasn't my main goal.

I read a bit of Chris' story and am glad he cured his cancer but am also very sorry to hear fasting again did not bode him well. From that situation I am sad to admit I do now believe that fasting isn't for everyone and will push forward with continued caution.

@OliveOil11

Thanks for sharing! 28 days is a great length, I'd be proud of myself if I were you. This stomach ache isn't debilitating but it is pretty annoying. It is a bit on-and-off so hopefully that's a sign that it is slowing down and will possibly stop for good.

Sharing that has given me great comfort. I was scared that something abnormal was going on and I was almost scared into seriously considering stopping. I would love to complete my 31 days, and I am almost half way!

What did you use for motivation? I have accountability of my family so I am reluctant to stop which is a form of motivation, I guess. I am just wondering what kept you going through the hard times of fasting. What was the source for your motivation?
