Ascaris, but darker colour, could be toxocara. Dog roundworm.

I have had a blood test for this. Waiting for result. The result takes a few weeks, if they do the second stage of the test (which the lab will do, if the first stage of the test is positive).

I have a feeling my blood test for toxocara will return a positive result.


Very common parasite, I suspect, as so many people have dogs/pets.


I am taking Kroeger Herb SPK, with a sugary meal (chocolate, cake, biscuits), 2 capsules, once each day for 5 days (or for 3 days. Varying the cycles, as predictable treatments make the worms immune). This taken at least 3 hours after previous meal, and at least 2 hours before next meal. Got out some parasites.


Today I took organic neem capsule (brand: Organix South) 1 capsule, with a sugary meal. Waited a couple of days after last cycle of SPK before starting the neem. Neem is supposed to be effective against roundwotms.


Get a blood test for toxocara, toxocariasis. Just my suggestion.

I am hoping I will get some medical help if I return a positive test result.
