I have not had good experiences with vitamin b complex. The main issue is b6 which can cause neuropathy even when taken below recommended doses. The internet is littered with people who've developed complications from taking b6 so be wary about this.

I've actually been taking vitamin b12 (by itself) for the past month and a half but it has not affected the lips at all. I take it for another problem.

I'd also be wary of low carb diets. We are essentially omnivores, we developed from eating lots of plant based foods. Yes, it may have something to do with digestion/stomach ph etc. It's difficult to know because all doctors seem interested in is selling pills and creams. You could definitely benefit from cutting simple carbs and Sugar out your diet, but don't exclude complex carbs (green vegetables), because they are not the culprit here.
