Unless there was penetration of the skin, a vaccination would not normally be necessary although most doctors would be happy to administer it for peace of mind. Additionally, unless provided almost immediately after the fact, the rabies treatment would not be very effective.
I would have only washed the Kurta in very hot water to clean it. No need to dispose of it.
Personally, I would and always do keep my zapper handy for any infections that might appear.
