Swelling vs non swelling bentonite

Hi guys, I've been doing p&b shakes with terramin, a non swelling clay. I've read he stuff about Bentonite on etsyonearth or however it's spelled and they only mention hydrating Bentonite to a colloidal magma for it to be of maximum benefit. Does non swelling Bentonite still work to the same degree? Tweet
