Hospitals
My 94 year old Aunt had breast cancer.
So they took her breast off. Day surgery and sent her home.
A couple of months later, tumors were growing in the scar.
So they did another day surgery to take off the tumors.
A few weeks later, there were tumors growing at the ends of the scar.
So they did another day surgery.
She had three day surgeries for breast cancer.
She has a scar from her waist to her arm pit.
A week after her 3rd day surgery to remove the residual tumors from a radical mastectomy, she started feeling horrible and got dizzy. So she called my cousin to come and take her to the emergency room. They admitted her and ran a whole bunch of tests. But they couldn't find anything wrong with her, except her potassium was a little low.
The doctor came by the next day (not the one who took her breast off) and says to her, "Ms. Frank, there is NOTHING wrong with you! Why did you come to the emergency room? This is NOT a hotel!"
She says to him, "WELL WHY DID THEY ADMIT ME THEN?"
He told her they never send people home from the hospital on holidays, and she could stay until after Christmas.
She told us he made her feel so bad and so guilty that she couldn't even sleep that night.
WTF is that SOB trying to do, kill her????!!!!
Now her blood pressure has been going up and down ever since she got there.
I think I am going to call the hospital administrator and raise some hell.
