i had this too a couple of years ago. i thought i was being bitten by bugs or mosquitoes and then i'd look and there was nothing there - happened mostly 8 PM -11 PM at night for me. strange random sensations too. i would look for small red lines esp around feet and ankles - larva migrans. could be hookworms or some other variety. i got this after walking barefoot on soil near woods.

for the small fibers, look into Morgellons and consider taking fenbendazole low dose for several months. one fellow on here used to post a lot and said he effectively cured himself of most Morgellons symptoms by taking 3 ml fenbendazole a day for 4 months. its pretty cheap on amazon - about $20 for 125 ml bottle Tweet
