Re: Rectal administration of Moxidectin ?

I used two small doses ....100lbs worth each.....four hours apart. It was a little warm.

It stimulated a bowel action each time after an hour and a half.

There were no noticeable effects.

The odour of moxidectin was gone by the time bowel movement took place.. A colleague has trialled smaller doses and retained it.

There was some gel leakage upon awakening for him, but no odour of moxidectin present.

Any experimentation of this method needs to be done using a much smaller dose as availability is much higher into bloodstream with any medication administered rectally.

I have found no reports of using Moxidectin rectally, this was my own experimenting.

As always with Moxidectin, extreme caution is necessary.
