I hope this is helpful to someone

Hello all
I have so much to say hardly know where to begin. I'll try to keep it to basics.
I have had the same problem as many of you and though I had the problem for many years (apparently) it was only in 2013 that I accepted that it was not a personal hygiene problem.
I've gone through all those comments "what's that smell? It smells like a..s, smells like sh..t, musty, throw up, it stinks in here! " etc. My first reaction was change soaps, bathe in the middle of the day (yes I brought supplies to work and would sneak away for a sponge bath.. the stress!). I bought every antibacterial soap, including men's "odor block" soaps... even hospital grade antibacterial soaps.. I stood in the shower with the soaps on me for 2 minutes (to kill all those odor producing bacteria) , used clinical strength antiperspirant and did much more than I care to describe and when none of this worked l finally realized this could not be a hygiene problem.
I thought to myself then it must be internal. And there started my on line research. I started to keep a log of the things I tried and their effects, it has been a hard journey. Keeping my head up in spite of what I knew people smelled (most are incredibly polite, but I came across those that weren’t, and I developed a keen ear and a hawks eye to listen and watch for reactions).
I won’t describe everything I’ve tried, and though I sometimes doubt my condition to this day, things appear to be much better so I’ll just say what I now do. Please bear in mind that I’m no doctor, just a fellow sufferer sharing what I do, I do not claim it will work for all.
After trying many, many supplements this is what I take now. Capryllic acid (just because I got tired of taking coconut oil… this had the most dramatic effect when I first tried it), Zinc (chelated), digestive enzymes, high quality multivitamin and probiotics. I also use Intesinew every now and then, you can look up what it does.
I worked with kids last year and I thank God for them for they taught me something.. in short, my breath stank. Short version after my experimentation I found that zinc containing mouth products seem to work the best. If you can get Smart mouth products they are good. If not, Aquafresh Extreme Clean Pure Breath with zinc is good, and Tom’s wicked fresh mouthwash with zinc is also good, plus they are more cost friendly. There are probably other good products out there that contain zinc that you can look for.
I hope that this information is helpful to someone out there. I came to realize that this condition has traumatized me and if I can be of help to anyone out there, it would bring me much joy and satisfaction. I’m not always confident that my situation is 100% resolved, but I do believe it’s much improved from what it was.
