Cannot find Edit Forum Button

I have looked and looked but I do not see an edit forum button anywhere. Also, one time right after I got my forum, I had a whole bunch of moderator options that disappeared. It seemed I could even create a variety of user names and pretend that I was several people all at once, so I could carry on conversations with myself. That seemed like it would be fun. I was all excited about doing that and thinking about how to carry on entertaining conversations with myself and had some ideas about how to create unique personalities. I have done some acting and stand up comedy. That kind of thing is fun for me. But when I went back to start doing it, all of those buttons were gone. I still don't know how they got there or where they went. Did I do something to make them appear and disappear, or did the global forum Gods, I mean Mods, grant me a vision of all the possibilities? Are there various levels of moderator permissions available? If so, how do I apply for a higher level and get those buttons back? Tweet
