Re: Yellow discharge, is it die-off?

Going Zero carbs can set the stage more for the fungal form of candida. Candida in its yeast form is more designed for simple carbs, whereas in its fungal form its more designed for fats and proteins. Candida in its fungal form is much harder to get under control than in its yeast form. In its fungal form it has a much tougher cell wall and is more resilient and invasive. A lot of people just think of candida of being a yeast infection, but it can turn into a more severe fungal infection.

There have been some studies done when candida is in the presence of some glucose it stays more in its yeast form.

"Candida albicans neutralizes the environmental pH under glucose-limiting conditions."
