Need advice

I wanna ask, do you think its better to avoid lip to contact with water completely or wash it as usual when showering? Bcs im afraid if i leave it alone without cleaning it, it'll develop into an infection. but i cant stand seeing my lip turn white when come into contact with water :( :( This condition kinda frustate me. I dont know if its an infection from the first place bcs sometimes i see a very small vesicle, very small that it unnoticeable except when you look at it closely. pls give your suggestion, thanks so much
