Hi Allen ! I suffered from the symptoms of Attention deficit Disorder with learning difficulties and concentration problems my whole life, After excessive stress in 1990 I started to binge eat (white bread) and went psychotic. It took me 4 years of sleeping to slowly recover.
This happened again in 2004 when doctors told me that there was nothing wrong with me. I was then diagnosed with Bipolar 2 disorder. I was prescribed Olanzapine and have slept for between
12 and 16 hours per day ever since. My symptoms were seasonal and I gained some relief during summer. I suspected Seasonal Affective disorder.
I have been deeply depressed for ten years.
I somehow always had a doubt about my diagnosis
But I had all the symptoms of Bipolar 2 except
I could not distinguish wether I was having mood swings or diabetic Hypos. After 57 years of mental health problems I was becoming desperate. I asked my doctor to prescribe an anti depressant. but she refused I think because she feared it would possibly cause mania. So in aug 2015 I decided to take matters into my own hands. I took the natural anti depressant SAM=e 400mg and immediatly went hypomanic for ten days then due to exhaustion I stopped. All my depressive symptoms had just vanished. with my new found energy I wanted to loose weight so I cut out sugar, grains and dairy from my diet. I felt even better .
It was as if I had had a brain transplant.
I suddenly had a personality, a new vocabulary
and intelligence. It seemed like a bloody miracle. so this what it felt like to be a normal human being. I had read about Candida and food intolerances and concluded that I had both of these conditions.I started a candida diet and supplements. After a couple of weeks my problems started I had replaced mental problems with chronic stomach and bowel issues.
(candida die off ). I did more research and found you site about you and your son Willy.
I dont know exactly what my food intolerances are but there is something in white bread that causes my problems. I ate a scotch egg (bread crumbs)and immediately felt Nauseus tired and
could not concentrate. Just as an experiment I
took SAM-e again and guess what ? No hypomania !. I contacted Bipolar research and made my claim. What is going on ? I have been asked to contribute to research. But like yourself I am concearned that my discovery will threaten the drug companies financial stranglehold on mental health drugs and so will be suppressed.
Previously a strange thing happened to me.
I was on a bipolar forum (psyche central) where
I was suddenly banned by the administrator for suggesting I had used natural means to cure my Bipolar.I thought that this was rather strange as they actively encourage you to suggest and recommend books and methods which have helped you with your bipolar symptoms. As one poster on the site commented. "Big Pharma are not going to be pleased with you " On researching the moderator of the website I think his name is John Grohol ) I discovered a whole rats nest of people demanding that he discloses where he gets his funding from. It would seem that he is the pockets of "Big Pharma" What are we up against here ?. I really feel like I do not have the energy to pursue my grievances and alert others to the possibilities of curing their Bipolar condition. I am exhausted.

The causes of this are obviously being mnisrepresented and drug pharma has invested to much money which sustains many organisations with its multi million/.Billion turnover to go back. People are not important ! Money is !
