I took myself way alkaline while I was fighting off that 'cancer' fungus, believing that crap about it stopping cancer. I had been doing alkaline supplements for a couple years previously to this though, and if cancer were stopped by alkalinity any more, mine wouldn't have even started, as alkaline as I already probably was (I ran out of test strips and didn't get any more until after I'd increased my dose for the cancer).
I had edema and that painful burning sensation as well. It's been a real pain in the hinny to get back down (I ended up close to 8.0), so yeah--they don't really mention the symptoms of over alkalinity much. As hard as it's been to get back to a more neutral level even, tells me probably it's just another of the pharmaceutical cartel scams to sell alkalinity supplements and products, and that most of us aren't really as acidic as they want us to believe. Or that the acidic range is not nearly as narrow as their most likely faked 'research' says it is. Blah.
