Re: Accidentally ingested salt after fast, intestine is irritated.

Table salt, I ate table salt with cooked beans or legumes, and very soon after it started burning and made my stomach and specially small intestine and urinary tract irritated. I have a burning sensation and have trouble sitting or bending. I did drink lots of water, heals it temporarily. I'm nutrient defficent, still in refeeding phase, can't keep drinking water as I won't retain the much needed nutrients!

Also Fuhrman says in his book on "fasting and eating for health": "Spicy food, and condiments such as salt and pepper, taken soon after fasting could irritate and cause damage to the stomach lining because the normal mucosal defense barrier has been diminished by fasting and takes time
to return to normal."

I can't even tolerate yogurt anymore because of the small amount of added salt. How do I get the probiotics?
