Back 15 years ago without all the hype, the standard was clear. And no, if you do as they said, it isn't hard to do. I got a ppm tester that shows the ppm of the silver since you start out with distilled water.
And the only difference it getting 'golden' ie yellow was I ran it kinda hot and it oxidized a bit. The clear was the goal before all the whole misinformation about 'golden' got shoved down everybody's throat. A ploy to make everyone buy a new maker that makes it 'golden', no doubt. Probably ones the pharmaceutical cartel sells.
I never found it one whit better than the clear, and never found silver to be any where near as helpful as the herbs I discovered, despite all the 'do this do that and it'll be better' stuff going on here now.
I doubt you will really care though--this seems a bit contrived to me.
