Diuretics during fasting is not a good idea at all. They can cause a drop in electrolytes, especially potassium when you are not fasting and during a fast your electrolytes can drop very low if you don't have a good mineral reserve prior to the fast. Sometimes potassium drops even when you do have good reserves.

In my opinion, taper off the diuretics as quickly as possible during your fast.
