HMO's screwing the insurance companies
I used to go to a private eye doctor rather than my HMO because I liked the guy, and had been using him for years.
He moved, so I went to my HMO [Kaiser] They did the exact same eye exam that my doc did.
He charged $150, the HMO charged the insurance $289 + my $10 copay.
