I haven't been very methodical about my Iodine supplementation.
My theory is that the reason I ended up with kidney problems is because I was dosing very high with Iodine but neglecting the salt aspect of the protocol.
I was thinking of Iodine as a candida killer and forgetting that at such a high dose I was probably dredging up more bromine which was getting hung up in my kidneys. It made it so the kidneys couldn't flush toxins out very quickly and I ended up backed up with all my aggressive candida killing efforts.
Seems like a good idea to be more mindful of what i'm taking at any given time. Starting next week I'm probably going to start taking multi vitamins and selenium again in preparation of getting back into a routine with iodine. I'll definitely pay more attention to taking the salt.
