Re: BAD offensive body odor...Food Allergies

This post was a number of years ago, but, I wanted to mention that I also have something called "PIE syndrome which is very similar to a food allergy , because whenever I ingest certain things, I give off a foul odor for a few days.

I cannot take aspirin, any prescription pain killers, or even drink caffeinated beverages. If I do, within hours, people are backing off of me. The odor comes up and out of my sinuses & respiratory system after the initial ingestion.

Around the holidays I like to relax and enjoy a few glasses of Coca-cola, but if I do, I have to stay at home for several days until the smell dies down.

I've gotten to the point where I'm not caring. I may go to the gym or somewhere, and it's made me aware of how unkind people can be when they smell something.

It's a human problem that everyone, at least ONCE in their life, will suffer from. But our society is OVERLY concerned about odors, I think. We have gotten to the point where we will TOLERATE ANYTHING in society, as long as we don't have to SMELL IT! LOL

Thank God I can keep this under control, but it has opened my eyes to the ugly side of people.

Most people think its their duty to let you know they smell something, they will follow you around trying to detect what it is, but I think they should just move away and go about their business.

Some people get excited! They enjoy it! It becomes the talk of the town! They love it, especially if its not them!

Enemies become friends, then someone else becomes the enemy!

No, I don't want to make friends with them. When the smell wears down, as far as I'm concerned, they are my enemies.

So, be careful how you treat people when you smell something, just move on, and go your freaking way. You don't know what the cause might be.
