Gluten sensitivity

Gluten sensitivity - hi I've been on candida diet and anti fun gals 9 weeks I appear to have a gluten intolerance if I try anything with wheat in.
If the candida is under control will I be able to eat wheat again or is gluten sensitivity usually,long term issue ?
