Re: Where are they now? Older posters for the rx forum

I'm a bit old, am I one of the ones you mean?

Update. I have been on a regime of using Fenbendazole (Panacur) & Moxidectin (Equest horse paste) and just added AMMO (Abamectin & Morantel Tartrate).

I rotate them. Dose for weight for the Moxi and the Ammo....double doses for weight. a bit more actually for the Fenben for five days.

Results = I have had three bumps show up, slightly irritated and a bit itchy. One on arms two on legs.

My feet = I have had 7 lesions cut out. What a bugger to get a doctor to do that for me. I am getting one more cut out today. None of them believe me.

I have had one niggle in my foot in the one area I am getting cut out today.

These were my mothership areas and I believe held lots of eggs that could lay dormant for yonks.

PS no hair fall at all with Fenben. I also use an infrared heat lamp to get the blood flowing more to the top of my feet.

I think my left foot might be also done apart from the two spots where one doctor decided to spray the crap out of it with CO2 spray, just for fun and to see what would happen.

Daily I scrape off and pick out old scar tissue. I keep them dried up with rotating rubbing alcohol and topical Panacur.

My belief is that these lesions that lie hidden under keratosed skin are the reason for failure of cure. They are hidden and protect eggs. I am hoping the heating warps the eggs. In the past I have taken three months of Leufeneron to stop eggs hatching, but I cannot say I am convinced it did this.

I exposed all my nests/lesions two years ago using a solution of dilute lye as a rub. I won't go into detail about this unless privately messaged. It was truly amazing to see the extent of the infestation .

Best wishes to all.
