Re: So sick due to chelation - desperately seeking advice for safe chelation
Completely missing from your story is the WHY. You say what you did, but not why. What are the reasons you started all of this in the first place?
> I began chelating copper a year ago
I don't see you mention a chelator.
> that I have been taking ALA while still having two
Amalgam fillings in my mouth
Oh my god. This is something you take long after
Amalgam fillings are out AND you took chelators (DMPS, DMSA) to get rid of most extracellular mercury. Only then do you take ALA.
One more reason for my opening paragraph, you have
Amalgams and you worry about copper? This is something that usually takes care of itself when the much more pressing problem of mercury is tackled. Using appropriate chelators, i.e. DMPS (best) or DMSA.
If you have mercury, forget about copper, unless you have Wilson's disease.
It sounds to me like you may have misdiagnosed what your problem is, and on top use inappropriate methods even if your diagnosis were correct.
Try the mentioned actual chelators - for mercury, because you had
Amalgam fillings. At this point DMPS injections (by a doctor who knows that stuff) may be useful, since you stirred up a lot of stuff the Cutler method may be too little by itself. There is little downside as long as your kidneys work and you are not heavily allergic (unlikely for someone who hasn't even taken DMPS yet), worst case is that it does little or nothing.
