ASTHMA - Foods to avoid and Home Remedies
The cause of asthma is unknown till date. Also it is not fully understood as to why asthma occurs in some but not in others. Asthma symptoms vary over time, and also differ from one individual to another. Some common causes of asthma are allergens from nature like house dust mite and cockroach, grass, pollen, foods, climatic changes, animals like cats, dogs etc. Some other reasons are self induced, habits such as smoking and alcohol consumption or working in toxic environments.
Most of the drugs and puffers only mask symptoms and do not fix the root cause.
There is hope for those who suffer from asthma and related diseases.
Avoid foods that can aggravate asthma. Common foods, which trigger asthma and produce phlegm are animal foods, milk products, food items which take more than two hours to digest, mucus producing foods such as curd, cheeses, bananas, sugar, sweets, lentils, cold foods/drinks straight out of the refrigerators and/or freezers, all types of processed foods, etc.
