How long has it taken for you to see dramatic improvement if you have a rather large gallstone

How long does it take to see some improvement? I've been taking TCM herbs and acupuncture for 9 months and done a few conservative flushes with evidence of stones but my gallbladder is still sore and has started having twitching. It's trying to push stuff out and work around my 3 cm stone at the neck (according to ultrasound).

Now really on the verge of deciding to go for surgery but wishing I could get some much better improvement from this process first. So afraid of either choice, really. Traveling soon and this is all coming to a head and making me try to decide asap.

I know a lot of you have had success over a longer period and are committed to self healing for the long haul. I'm so confused and frightened and frustrated. I don't want to make an irreversible decision yet a good part of me reasons it's also possibly wise in my particular case.

Any shared experiences would be great. Did you (not someone you know) flush this stone or at least flush satellite stones while keeping the big one? Part of me wishes to do that. Tweet
