Re: Candida overgrowth or not?

Candida is commonly related to skin issues. Past antibiotioc use and fungal candida can lead to decreased levels of HCL in the stomach. This can affect the skin in several ways and one of those is decreased absorption of zinc.

You can also look at the skin as a reflection of the intestinal tract. Imbalances in the intestinal tract can show up in the skin.

There are probably several reasons not to sue medications in correcting fungal candida issues - http://www.candidaplan.com/583/candida-diets/

I would also look at candida as being a part of several imbalances and not just candida alone.
