Welcome to the world of fasting. It is a good thing that you want to try fasting. But do not be disappointed if you do not see or feel the benefits.
I agree with DL that this article is half baked. The person writing it has done no research on fasting. Fasting by humans is known for thousands of years.
This article says it is proven in mice but not humans. He should read Dr.
Shelton and Dr. Fuhrman's books. Many have fasted more than 3 days, people go 30 days without food and water only. He says you deplete your reserves in three days, what a BS.
They can do the research as this writer says, but the fasting has been studied for a long time, only thing is that mainstream modern medicine will never accept it because they have a lot to lose.
I have fasted ever since I was seven years old, yes, 1 day a month, it helped me.
Yes, post your experience of how you feel after you break your fast. Break your fast with fruits and eat raw for a week, you will see how your focus changes.
