snoring & remedies

Hello, everyone! Hope to find some advice here. Have been trying to overcome the snoring for quite some time.. because of my snoring my wife has moved to other room, i am really desperate because miss the intimacy very much, but in the same time acknowledge that it is very hard for her to sleep besides me. Have checked that i don't have a sleep apnea, but as the only solution to my problem doctor suggests medical surgery. Have read very much negative comments on that though...
