I appreciate your concern. However, the capsules allow me to add the cayenne to the drink just before drinking it. I don't like hot/spicy things, and if I add it in advance, the whole jug gets WAY to hot. So I pour it in and drink it. Actually, I add the 1/10th tsp to about 4 oz, drink, then follow with 6 oz without the cayenne. It's the only way I can make myself drink it.
