I'll try not to waste anyone's time, so pay attention. After 10 years of misery, I've found a simple routine that has worked FOR ME for 3 months now. Individual results MAY VARY, but hopefully not too much. First solution = 1 part hydrogen peroxide, 1 part apple cider vinegar, 8 parts water. Second solution = lemon juice

Make solutions in separate spray bottles. I use small 2oz bottles from walmart. Store in dark area. Spray on fingers and apply to problem areas about 3x per day or as needed (especially after sweating). DO NOT GET EITHER SOLUTION IN YOUR HAIR OR EYEBROWS OR IT WILL GRADUALLY BLEACH THEM. I use the peroxide solution first, let it dry and then use the lemon solution about 5 min later. Sometimes I rinse, sometimes I don't feel the need to. That's it. I don't use any other products on my face.

For areas with hair, I use sulfur products which are not as effective, but still keep things under control without bleaching my hair. Walmart also has a few selections of different sulfur ointments, soaps and shampoos.

Final advice: Be scientific about treatments. Keep daily records using a numerical grading system to assess the improvement and try to limit the amount of treatments to get a better idea of what's working.

I don't want to badmouth anyone else's assessment of the causes or solutions to this mess, but personally, I think the candida, Iodine deficiency, leaky gut, and Liver Flush hypotheses are mostly bullshit. I've tried all kinds of remedies, from dietary changes, to supplements, to coffee enemas and liver flushes, and nothing made any difference whatsoever. Seb derm is an external condition that may be complicated by internal factors, but be wary of anyone that suggests you can be rid of it simply by changing your attitude or your diet. Tweet
