Re: Fatal Meningoencephalitis Caused by Disseminated Strongyloidiasis

I knew a young lady who died of meningitis and now I am beginning to suspect that was what happened to her. She was sick for a while and then rushed to the hospital and died.

I wonder if it was their approach to curing her that actually killed her. Giving her the wrong medicines without acknowledging worm connection might have did her in. I am still trying to put the dots together on what caused her death. she was in her twenties. How sad. This happened in US. Tweet
