Question about ichthammol ointment

HI guys, I have been using ichthammol ointment for furuncle/cyst or whatever it was and still little bit is on my face, near my nose.
It was 1/2 inch big, red. I have had it on my face for week,and have been using ointment for 4 days, at first twice a day, and then 3-4 times a day, and today used it like 5-6 times total (it was pulling the pus out).
I always used it on the bump and also little bit around.
I noticed right now, after today, that skin around the bump is pulled up as well, skin that was not affected by bump.

Question is: will it return back to normal, or stay permamently raised? I hope I have not caused permament damage :(.
