Yes if the organisms are embedded in biofilm environment then Antibiotics cannot penetrate. The immune system will recognize their existence but the white blood cells cannot get to them either. Then the immune stays on the ON mode which creates lots of other issues (autoimmune, piles of oxidative stress).
