I would like to get some suggestions on back pain treatments. I used to sit about 8 hours in my office on work days(5 days/week). It's been 4 months since I started working. Last few weeks onwards I'm experiencing terrible lower back pain. Sometimes the pain is severe, as I have to take painkillers to get some relief from the pain. This is going on for 2 or 3 weeks. I tried taking some regular breaks at the office and walk for some time. But when I came back and sit for working the pain starts again. Then I consulted my physio in Mississauga to get some advice on the further treatment options. He advised starting physiotherapy at the earliest. I know I can't expect a quick relief with this. Does anyone know a better option than physiotherapy?
