Re: Iodine for Strep throat??

Thanks for the reply! I'm very ignorant when it comes to strep but after research I should have been more specific on my original post- a couple weeks ago I had strep throat I took lots of vitamin C and Iodine and it cleared up. I did not get a diagnosis but knew I had been around a child with strep throat and put two and two together. My son got itchy butt I thought it was pinworms and we him to doctor and he had perianal strep which Is also called "butt strep". My husband started to get the crazy bad sore throat too and he took iodine, Vit C, zinc and he's better! Problem is I can't get my 3 years butt clearing up -Would buying Collodial silver help does it pass the stomach and go through digestive track taken orally or should I apply topically? He doesn't like juice so I can't get him to take Vit C. I have powdered Vit C and he won't drink it in water either. I painted his stomach last night with iodine. Would probiotics help?? I have checked the internet over and over but not many solutions for butt strep and like you said Antibiotics would not prevent it from coming right back. Where else could I paint Iodine besides stomach to be more effective for digestive track? Tweet
