The Conspiracy I see here is the driving people toward doctors and prescriptions as the only 'scientific' way of relief. Give up all hope at being able to help yourself.

I noticed the transcript is dated 2006. I heard this on NPR just the other day and Googled it up. Guess they thought it needed repeating just in case there were still any backward people believing in it.
