Re: Would there be any benefit of sticking 1-2 Kidney Cleanses in the midst of this?
I most certainly would do everything I could possibly tolerate to ensure my major organs/systems were in the most natural/healthy state possible...to support the stress of the drugs & withdrawal from the same.
But the very first thing I would do would be to eliminate all possible stress. Example: I've rarely heard of anyone weaning off benzos that could handle college OR work...but I'm sure I've never read of anyone going to school AND working while withdrawing...unless of course, they're taking one light class and working 5-10 hours weekly. I can't possibly *know* what your situation is like, but when I hear "work, school, basketball", I immediately think "no wonder he's having such a tough time :::sigh:::" So give that some thought and do your best to eliminate everything that's not absolutely essential.
And I'd start with CE's immediately (you can start with a diluted solution, or small amount of solution to test). By supporting the liver, one also supports all other major organs/systems.
Once I had a comfortable daily routine going with those, I'd do some occassional liver/kidney cleansing.
Alternative medicine is SO screwed up. We don't wait until *after* we've withdrawn from drugs to start supporting our body assisting our organs/systems in every way possible to maintain their 'natural state' and 'healthy balance' :::eyeroll::: Of course, it only makes sense to 'go lightly & safely', but it's essential to provide support in order to deal with the extra burden.
You're welcome - sorry I can't be here more often.
