Re: A Story to Tell.
I am new to this site. I have never participated in a site like this. However, i am the mother of 5 children and my fourth child suddenly had a partial complex seizure on Valentines Day this year. Then she proceeded to have more seizure activity which culminated in her need for medication. The meds stopped the seizures. She is nine yrs old.
Until she was 7.5 yrs old, she was on a completely whole foods diet 99% gluten free. We did juice a good bit of that time. We opened a business 2 years ago, ironically to teach children how to eat a whole foods diet. However, we made our money from teaching gymnastics and had to devote 100% of our time to that in order to get the business off the ground. During the first 1.5 years of the business being opened, my children had their first pizza, hamburger, and other convenience foods. During the 24 hours prior to my daughter’s first seizure, Valentine’s Day, she had all
Sugar and white flour at my mother’s house against my instructions. her sleep was off, her diet was pure sugar, and she had skipped meals. I KNOW HER SEIZURE CONDITION IS DIET RELATED!
I don’t have time to write much more, but i am curious if you have considered
food allergy as a cause of your reactions to the juice? we developed allergies to bananas and carrots, for example. Rashes and redness like you mentioned from juicing. And also did you know and follow the rule for juicing, 8
oz per hour maximum. Finally, the only fruit which should be juiced with vegetables is green apple due to its low glycemic quality.
