The relationship between heavy metal toxicity and candida

Hello,
I am wondering if anyone out there is suffering from candida overgrowth? I have had an issue with this for a while. I have come across some information on the web about doing a heavy metal detox. Has anyone ever done this and if so was it expensive and what did it entail? I've just read a blog about it here:

and it sounds really interesting. I think by doing this it may resolve some of my other issues too. I am interested in hearing from others that have tried this and what benefits they have seen and how long it has taken to see those benefits?
