Re: update
Zinc or Stink
By Barb Gormlie
Body Odor is only one facet of why you need zinc. Zinc is a very important mineral for your immune system, the health of your eyes, your sense of taste and smell, your adrenal function and prostate health; zinc also supports normal health and development during pregnancy, childhood and adolescence.
When supplementing with zinc it is important to keep in mind that taking over 50mgs at a time requires a balance of 3mg of copper.
Current research indicates that zinc deficiency is widespread.

FYI, I'm not taking "Eidon Zinc tablets." I went to the grocery store and bought 30mg of zinc. I bought an off brand and to be completely honest, I wasn't looking for a "name brand" bottle. The bottom line is that zinc is zinc. I just wanted to put that out there so the community understands that I'm not touting, or attempting to get sufferers to purchase Eidon zinc. The bottom line here is that 30mg is working, and it's working better than I'd expected. I have questions and no answers, and unfortunately my primary care physician(s) are no help.
1. Why is zinc working so well for me? Is it because I have a zinc deficiency?
2. Do I have some type of metabolic disorder?
3. Maybe I have none of the above?
