Markings on Fingernails - Meaning?

I have this horizontal indentation on my thumb nail. I see these frequently.

Also, my fingernails always tend to grow in slanted. Pictures attached.

Any insight into this would be appreciated as to what signs my nails are telling me about my health. Thanks.
