Sertraline (zoloft) detox Q, neck hurting

Hi Unyiquity,

Since one of your threads on this forum is the best I've found so far, I'd like to ask a question, since something unpleasant happenedy yesterday when I took half a zoloft.

I've been pushing to quit antidepressants for many a year, with a classic allopathic doc otherwise as my primary care physician. I use some herbs, a carb-wary diet (organic's become our mainstays), and nutritional supplements here and there.

The issues I'm dealing with are in no particular order- post-amalgam removal cleanup (was 13 amalgams), hypothyroidisim, and type 1 diabetes.

I've been about two months now on a reduced dose of sertraline and am at 1/4 of the normal adult dose- it has a gistory of making my thyroid/parathyroid areas feel swollen and making swallowing uncomfortable, always within the 2 hours right after taking it.

Yesterday it was a swelling on the right-hand side, mostly the back of the throat, with a radiating numbing of the sensation up that side, ending about halfway towards the front of the roof of the mouth. Currently this morning the same area is still some swollen and sore, and it feels almost like there's some calcification (a hard spot? hard to describe. some soreness) activity there.

Tips welcome, and thank you kindly :)
