I've found the cure for arm pit odour. No jokes.
This is no joke. I'm 26 years old and with the same embarassing problem you guys have.
It's kind of weird because body odour doesn't run in my family. My dad doesn't even need deoderant, and my brother/mother are fine as long as they wear antiperspirant.
For me it's different. People and my fiance don't tell me I stink....but I can really smell my body odour sometimes. I have one friend who basically told me I smell like B.O.
During my teen years nothing worked for me. After 4 hours after a shower I stank quite bad. Old spice and antiperspirants made me smell worse.
At university I was trying to impress girls, but the body odour was humiliating. Eventually I came across an idea of using "BAKING SODA".
The baking soda worked for a few hours, but I felt like it didn't stay on my arm pits for very long.
So I made my own sticky solution to put on my armpits before applying the baking soda.
(My sticky solution was my own jar of 80%
Sugar mixed with 20% water to give it a maple syrup sticky texture).
After applying the sticky solution and baking soda over my entire armpit, I went 4 years without a day of body odour. (Obviously the reason I put the sticky solution on is because it stops the baking soda from falling off your arm pits.....it keeps it there all day).
HOWEVER....I need to give you guys a couple of warnings.
------------------
Over the last 2 years my body odour came back. I couldn't figure out why my armpits stank again.
I went through these entire 2 years trying everything. I've tried all the antiperspirants,
Epsom Salts , honey, milk of magnesia, crystal salts, corn starch, zinc oxide powder, and natural herbs and pills. NONE OF IT WORKED AT ALL.
I just went 2 years of smelling (although it's moderate compared to when I was teenager). I was getting depressed and considering surgery to destroy my sweatglands).
However.....just recently I purchased an entire new box of arm & hammer baking soda. After applying the NEW baking soda my body odour went away.
I had no idea that old baking soda wouldn't fight the problem. This is a 2 year mistake that I'll never make again.
------------
In summary - Use a home made sticky solution on your armpits first, and apply "NEW" baking soda to your armpits. You'll be good to go.
(P.S - Sometimes the baking soda will make your armpits feel like they are burning after repeated using. Before you go to bed you should probably wash the baking soda off and put a nice moisturing cream to help the problem. Repeat this every night.)
