Re: cold generation

You're very welcome.

And I agree with what you're saying insofar as the knowledge and the differences between schools of thought toward matters. To which I'd add, in most cases, people will most often come to discover for themselves how things work through personal experience over time.

Which leads me to ask you how you came to measure your ppm?
Was it with a TDS meter, calculation, or perhaps by weight a differentiation?

And the reason I ask is that your observed conclusion seems to conflict with the facts. ie, 20ppm (which is near the theoretical saturation limit) of any particle size would likely exhibit colour. And so I'm thinking the discrepency may be at the ppm collection stage. In which case, I'd add that most TDS meters(for example) cannot effectively measure the total amount of silver in solution, as they are calibrated to read total dissolved solids.

That said, the following thoughts may prove helpful on this particular topic:

1. 1ppm = 1mg of silver p/liter of solution. - this means we can potentially/ physically weight an anode before and after processing so as to identify how much silver has moved into a solution.

2. Since CS colour is based on particle size, shape and density(ppm), the question as to what potential combinations exist in terms of saturation and colour comes up. For example; is it possible to create a 20ppm Colloidal Silver solution without exhibiting colour? Can this be demonstrated?

3. And finally, I would ask what a "true Colloidal Silver solution" actually is. - ie, it appears as though different manufacturers are under the impression that their own products qualify the term.

Hope this helps.
