Re: Is distilled water bad or good?

Ill offer a few facts Ive came across, as to the where and why of these facts, I dont have the links handy so do your own research, no matter who tells you what, do your own research. Distilled water is one of the healthiest waters there is for the body. Many will claim all sorts of negative things about it, perhaps thats just part of the water wars going on between all the misinformation that their water or filter or machine is the best while using other propaganda to dis all the others. So lets cover a few basics. For example they will say distilled water is bad because it has an acidic ph. But they dont tell you that coffee, tea and cola has even a more acidic ph then distilled water, so what does that tell you. Then there is the c02 story, as they will say oh distilled water is bad cause it has c02 in it. Have you ever looked at your fizzing cola and wondered what those bubbles are, thats c02 and far more of it in cola then ever in distilled water. Also they may throw up the ph myth that you must have Alkaline Water or food, but the also forget to mention that everything you drink or eat goes right into stomach acid, and it becomes highly acidic as it does that. Only later after digestion and as the foods leave the stomach does the body then add bile to the food mush then to neutralize its acidity. So the body naturally makes anything you eat and drink first acidic and then it neutralizes it later with bile to remove that acid. As to does distilled water remove toxins or minerals and so forth, well every water does. And the more ability a water has for doing that the more acids and toxins it can remove all the quicker too. Also you get your minerals from foods, not water. Your body uses organic minerals,,not inorganic minerals usually in water. Distilled water will flush out inorganic minerals,,but organic minerals in use, in the body that it will not flush out. So there you have the basics to it all. If your still worried, then just use something like Sea Salt that has minerals in it and add a tiny pinch to the distilled water. Then you have a water that has the toxic stuff distilled out of it and you have minerals added back into it, not that the body really can or prefers such minerals like that as it gets organic minerals from foods. But you get ease of mind there at least. :)
