PATM has no valid explanation, so it's more on the mental heal side, whereas people have allergic reactions due to our Body Odor .

If you have TMAU, then you don't have PATM, because there's something about the odor that triggers allergic reactions in people.

Sorry if I came across as hostile, but I was just explaning the difference between the two, because it's annoying and frustrating when people invalidate you. I told my mom about people always coughing, sneezing, sniffing etc. whenever I'm around, but don't when I walk away. She tells me I'm paranoid and crazy, when that's not truth at all. She doesn't suffer from chronic Body Odor , so it sounds crazy to her( who can blame her, it does sound crazy, but it does happen all the time).
