Possible Hydatid cyst

Hello, I would very much appreciate some help and advice. To be brief, my MRI scan which I had 2 weeks ago has thrown up a possible hydatid cyst (I need to have a blood test soon to confirm this). I am due to see a Consultant on Friday to discuss what needs to be done. I am really worried although having spoken to a couple of GP's about my scan report, they don't seem very worried and just said it is treatable. I hope they are right, can anyone who has had one of these give me some advice on this? Tweet
