Re: Albendazole Cost
Flossie. I know you mean well, but I believe you are mistaken when you say ICU protocols include Doxycycline for every parasitic case.
The only protocol which includes Doxycycline is for Strongyloides, Filariasis, & Morgellons. And this protocol doesn't begin with Doxy, it begins with Bactrim for 4 weeks if one has a soft tissue bacterial infection, then Doxy for 6 weeks.
If no bacterial infection, then begin with Doxy. Following is a quote from this protocol:
"Doxycycline enhances the synergistic & antiparasitic effects of Ivermectin & results in higher cure rates. It's a key element in treatment of Strongyloides, Filariasis, & Morgellons. If treating those infections, do not skip taking this drug."
The reason Doxycycline is included in this protocol is not connected with die-off. It's connected with strongyloide larvae. These larvae have a bacteria which doxy kills. The strongyloide larvae dies when the bacteria dies. Killing the bacteria is an indirect way of killing the larvae.
Also, the above protocol is the only one which suggests the need for allergy tablets.
I do not believe nausea is much of a problem.
I hope you will quit giving this erroneous advice. It is not good to take unnecessary
Antibiotics . We do not need to be killing off any good intestinal flora possibly leading to candida.
If I wrong on these points, I hope ICU will correct me.
